November 5 or 6, 2007 photos from the roof of the dormitory at the Penusila ashram.

Looking southwest, toward the village outside the ashram.

More to the west, you can see the holy waterfall. And Patrick. We walked through the village and up the river to the pool at the bottom of the waterfall. And jumped in and sat under the falling water. Very energizing. And cold.

South, over Amma's Mother's house/temple (blue), Amma's house (pink), and the temple (white).

East over the dormitory courtyard and across the gardens. You can see construction on the dormitory, which will about double the number of rooms.

The BP Solar water heater (which looks like a spaceship in a bad 1950's movie). The water heater was on between 3:15 am and 5:15 am and again for a couple hours in the afternoon. I'm not at all sure how you turn off a solar water heater, but the water was cold at other times.

Southeast over the houma pavillion (blue roof, green mesh side) and the meditation hall. You can see the statue of Hanuman beyond the meditation hall.

North. Nothing out there but forest. And some mountains.

A little east of north.
